My parents and my teachers strongly emphasized that good education is beginning to show with a greeting and a personal presentation that made them feel welcome to the person who had just met.

So, hello. I Virgili Virgili Slim (I always liked to introduce James Bond-style, but since my name is more original than my name, I always say my name first).

I was born in Barcelona, something I've always thought that was a blessing. And by chance, because my parents were willing to build his life and his family in Australia. I'm not sure this is a relevant fact, but in any case, it is something that has taught me to relativize the importance of space and time.

Technically, the word that defines what I do professionally is a consultant. Therefore, in my professional card would, if any, consultant. Although there are many people who consider me a trainer. Well, whatever the word is that it can be used to label my work, what they contributed is related to the development of people and organizations. The experiences and my interests have been leading me to specialize in leadership, management development, in creating highly competitive teams and management processes of transformation and change.

When I had to make a decision, I chose to study the Magisterium, specialty Mathematics and Experimental Sciences. A few years ago I found a sentence that explains very well believe that my motivation when I decided to dedicate to education and personal development. The phrase is Emiliano Aguirre, who was director of the Atapuerca excavations between 1977 and 1990: "Knowledge enriches and differs from the money it seeks to communicate, not concentrate."

After four years devoted to teaching teenagers, I began my work as a consultant and trainer in 1989 (how time flies!). Today, my work performance from freedom and the risk of being freelance, step I took in 2007 when I started to run my own company Nelbet Project (the name has no application or meaning, is only a name, not even want to be a mark).

I'm also part as a partner and consultant for the project Alius Modus, consulting organization focused on diversity, migration, CSR, equality and fairness. And in Romania, a very special place for me, I participate as a consultant on the project to create, a consulting firm Manpower. In addition, I teach leadership and development of the Postgraduate School of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

To get here, my career path has gone through the field of new technologies (at that time were really new), where he acted as trainer and commercial by Honda Automobiles Spain, where I worked as a commercial trainer network of dealers, MTSI International, a consulting firm in which I conducted strategic functions and top management consultant and in which I was fortunate to work with people and places on five continents, and Creade, Human Resource Consulting where walked the area of Management Development.
